DESCRIPTION

The Cuba-Odivelas Irrigation Scheme is located in the municipalities of Alvito, Cuba and Ferreira do Alentejo and allow the benefit of an area of 2 800 ha.

The following facilities integrate this infrastructure: water intake in the Alvito-Pisão canal, equipped with a trashrack rake; water transportation duct system with 4 km in length, irrigation network with 29,3 km, drainage network with 4 km in length and automation, remote management and monitoring system.

Aqualogus prepared the Preliminary Study, Detailed Design and the Environmental Impact Assessment and provided Technical Assistance during construction.
