H2PORTO - Technological Platform for the Urban Water Cycle

H2PORTO - Technological Platform for the Urban Water Cycle, developed by a Consortium led by AQUALOGUS for the municipal company Águas do Porto, was recently granted the prize for Best Digital Strategic Tools, under the Portugal Digital Awards.

H2PORTO is a platform designed to support the integrated management of the entire urban water cycle in the city of Porto, bringing together in the same tool information from water supply systems and drainage of waste water and rainwater, streams and beaches. This platform - unique in Portugal - allows remote monitoring and control of any exceptional situations in the various networks, thus enabling real-time management of networks and teams, by the management entity.

H2PORTO also includes an application for the provision of information to the public, allowing, for example, customers to receive targeted notices whenever there is a need to cut the water on a particular part of the city.
